About Morrison

Welcome to Harry C. Morrison Elementary School!

Morrison Elementary School is often celebrated as a “hidden gem” in Fort Smith. Our pride lies in our vibrant community of students, staff, parents, and supporters—we are one big family. We aim to cultivate not only strong academic skills but also essential social skills that empower our students to thrive as responsible and engaged members of society. At Morrison Elementary, students learn to be respectful, responsible, and self-directed learners. Our comprehensive academic curriculum equips them with a diverse range of skills to prepare them for future success.

Parental involvement is key to our success, and we warmly welcome parents on campus. Together, we are building a supportive and engaged school community.

While we may no longer be “hidden,” we continue to shine as a true gem.

Empowering Students

Morrison Elementary is at the forefront of educational technology. In addition to equipping students with essential laptop skills, we are expanding our program to include coding and programming instruction.

Our extracurricular offerings further enrich the student experience, featuring art and music classes, a news team, safety patrol, chess club, and a robotics team.

Another strength of our school is our diversity. We proudly showcase the unique backgrounds of our school family during our annual Celebrate Freedom Night. This vibrant event celebrates our rich culture through music, art, and a variety of foods, making it one of the most exciting nights of the year.
